1. Install Spell Number from the iTunes App Store (it's free).
2. Launch the application. 
3. Type 91929394.59
4. Press the About button, then the Done button, and then the Home button to exit the application.
5. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Japanese 6. Select/Turn On Emoji
7. Now head to your messaging app and you will see a new icon at the bottom left of the keyboard which will give you emoticons! 
8. Delete the app (if you want) because the emoji icons will still be there.
